Welcome to the Crimson Networks Market!

Our server Market is one of many way for players to trade items, purchase resources from other players, or just be a general place to hang out!

Our general practice as the server market, is to create a player-based economy, driven by custom prices, competitive trading, and scarce opportunity for actually setting up shop. Lets talk about a few key features with the market, just to get a head start on other sellers.

Market Stalls - In the market, there is a set list of stalls you, the player, can choose from. Depending on the amount of items you are looking to sell, will determine the stall size you will be looking for. Each stall has a separate price, depending on : Distance from Market Spawn, stall size, and amount of sellable slots.

Market NPC's - Market NPC's are the core fundamentals of our Market. Instead of using chest shops with signs, we've decided to use Market NPC's. These NPC's will have a determined item amount size. What this means is, the size of your stall will determine the amount of slots you will be able to use to sell items through that NPC.

Market Landmarks - Our Market isn't just for player trading. We have set landmarks you can travel to that will house the normal server NPC's. Anyone from the "Seller", "Enchanter", all the way to the more obscure NPC's like the "Advanced Hopper Seller" and "Spawner Seller" all the NPC's that can be found in spawn, can be found in the market as well.

Stall Scarcity - What thing that drives us as a management team, is our competitiveness, always wanting to be better, and do more. Which is most of our core values. One thing we want to do, is share those core values with you as well. As you travel through the market, you will notice a scarcity in stalls and buildings you will be able to use. This is intentional, as we are a player driven economy, we want players to compete to be the best, and make the most profit.

Stall NPC's - The NPC sale system is a relatively new and elusive system put in place to allow for easier access to sell and buy items of your choosing. There are some key points with the NPC's that you will want to study. Just to make sure you can create shops efficiently, without confusion. Here is a list of each command used for the NPC's.

- Available Shop : When an NPC is available to sell your items, it will have a tag over its head with its Availability, as well as the price for the NPC.

- Increase Rent Time : Every 8 Hours, all NPC's will reset to its original availability. This creates a competitive market for stalls, which required players to get on the server, and purchase all their stalls again. Increasing Rent time will circumvent that and increase overall stall rent time, for a price.

- Edit Shopfront : With this, you will be able to edit items in your shop, what can be sold, the amount sold at once, as well as whether or not they are only sellable, buyable, or both sellable and buyable. Whenever you create an item for sale, you will be prompted in chat to put two prices down. First will be setting the sale price with just a number, then you will set the buyable price.

- Edit Storage : Having a shop is great for selling and buying items if you have the inventory to sustain it. With the shop there is a storage system in place. You will need to constantly be checking to see if you have items that need to be restocked.

- Preview Shop : This is just a way to look at your shop from a players perspective, just to see if everything you want, is correct.

- Edit Villager : This will allow you to change the appearance of your villager. If you like to make sure everything is organized and easy to see for other players, you can change the appearance of your villager to match what it is selling.

- Sell / Abandon Shop : This will sell your shop, and refund you %50 percent of what you bought it for.

- Change Villager Name : This will allow you to change the name of your villager. Please keep in mind that all names used for villagers will still need to be within the servers rules and guidelines.

- Trade Notifications : This will determine whether or not you want all sales or purchases will show up in chat.

- Storage Retrieval - If you miss your renting time and your shop gets sold back to the server for availability. All items that you had in storage will be returned to you with the "/vm retrievestorage" command. What is important to note is, any items that are posted for sale, will not be retrieved. A good rule of thumb is to create an item listing for one item to be sold at a time for a set price, while keeping the rest of that item, in storage.

Other than that, these are the mechanics for the market. While market ideas fluctuate in the future, we will be creating ways for players to have a competitive, fun time using our market. We hope to see you become the server entrepreneur, and create a empire of sales.
